Job Details:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact with software development team to ensure continuous bi-directional flow of information related to the status and quality of development effort.
Participate in reviews with the goal of identifying risks requiring testing.
Create and execute both manual and automated tests to identify problems and additional risks in the software under development.
Deploy and maintain test environments for team use.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
At least six (6) months of work experience in software testing with the ability to implement/set up testing web-based applications.
Specific requirements include but not limited to:
Understanding and ability to conduct the following testing types:
Regression Testing
System Testing
Integration Testing
User Acceptance Testing
Experience and knowledge of SQL, Automated testing tools for web (open source or commercial), Unix/Linux, testing Java applications (an advantage).
Familiarity with operating systems: Unix, Windows, Macintosh.
Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
Filipino citizen or hold relevant residence status.
Willing to work in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
